I think this picture best represents my first three months here at Baruch College. At first, I did not know what to expect since I heard that high school is completely different from college. The first few weeks was manageable, but it became tedious towards the middle of the semester. I think I was able to manage my classes quite well. It has been quite stressful because there was one week where I had to write two essays which were both due on the same day within one week. Through time management, I was able to finish the two essays and hand them in on time. However, I think I would’ve enjoyed Baruch more if they did not place me in a block. All the classes I am currently taking are none I have interest in. Fortunately, I am taking classes in the Spring semester that are related to my major such as BUS, ECO and LAW. But being placed in a block allowed me to make friends easier and faster. I met many new people who I became friends with quickly. The last thing I have to do before I enjoy the winter break is to do well on my finals. I can say my overall experience at Baruch College has been great.

Enrichment Workshop Experience
The Writing Winning Resumes Workshop was very beneficial for me. This workshop took place on December 4 from 2:30 P.M. – 4:00. P.M. I learned how to write an effective resume and what employers look for in potential employees. I learned that attention to detail is extremely important, such as italicizing, underlining, capitalizing and bolding specific key points in your resume. It’s also extremely important to use a professional or school email in your contact information or else interviewers will question it. I also learned that pronouns are not to be used anywhere in the resume. You also include bullet points under each work experience briefing the employer what you did at that place. I also learned that high school information should not be included in your resume. You should also include your GPA if it is above a 3.0. Overall I learned a lot from this workshop and hope to implement what I learned into my resume in the future.
Me
It’s somewhat hard to describe myself with a playlist of ten songs, but they do say something about me as a character. I started listening to EDM (Electronic Dance Music) around 2011, when the song Antidote (Swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party) played on Spotify. I immediately liked the genre of the music, the bass drops and highs/lows, and got into EDM ever since.
