This is my home in the summer. I spend about 50 hours here each week. The guy under the orange umbrella isn’t me, but I basically do the exact same thing as him. “Watch the water.” Most of the time I just enforce rules, but on the rare occasion that there is an active drowning victim I get to jump in and save him/her. That’s really all there is to this job.
I really enjoy eating out with friends. This is where the majority of my paycheck goes too. We don’t get to see each other very often because they don’t live in the city anymore but when they do come back to visit we make the best of the short time we have. (Normally we don’t spend this much)
Swimming became a part of my life when i entered high school. I joined the swim team and it ended up getting me a job as a lifeguard. The man up there is Michael Phelps, and if you know anything about swimming he’s basically the closest thing humanity has to a real Poseidon. If you’re a swimmer you look up to this guy, just like how basketball players have Michael Jordan, and performers have Michael Jackson. Yeh i’m gonna name my son Michael.
This game has been a part of my life since the beginning of high school. It’s brought my friends and I closer and I’ve actually made new friends because of it. If you guys every want to play with me, my in game name is xbluemoon.
Batman is, and always will be the best super hero in all of the universes. He’s just mad sexy.
This is my high school. The smallest specialized high school in the city, at least to my knowledge. We had a total of 400 students. Transitioning from a school that small to Baruch is actually really nice. Although we don’t really have campus life, and dorming. Baruch is definitely a step up from my high school so I can’t complain.
This is Suicune. One of the three legendary dogs from the Johto region of Pokemon. This is my favorite Pokemon of all time and with the direction Pokemon is going in now, this will probably be my favorite Pokemon forever.
I’m going to try to enjoy this place as much as possible.

Thanks for this post, Alan. I have to say I agree with your assessment on Michael Phelps (although, no I don’t think I’ll name my son Michael). I hope you continue to find time to swim as well as enjoy meals out with friends.
