These eight pictures represent parts of my life that have shaped who I am today. The flag of the Philippines represents my Filipino heritage. I was also born in Cebu, Philippines and I lived there for the first six years of my life. A majority of my family still live there and I visit them occasionally. Then when I was about six years old, my parents and I moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where I was raised for half of my life. I went through elementary and middle school during my time there. I have great memories being there hanging out with my friends and family whom I still keep contact with. I miss it there at times especially in the winter time. As it was time for me to move on to high school, we moved again to New York. I now still reside in Elmont, New York where I grew up and made amazing new friends. Throughout my time here I have had amazing new experiences. One of which was playing Badminton. I did not play the sport prior to coming here. I have gained new skills as well as great friends. It is wonderful to be a part of a team and go through it all together. I love being in the city and I go there whenever I get the chance to. Now that I go to school in the city, I am there almost everyday. I hope to have many new experiences in the city. The picture of my parents and I is from my high school graduation. They have supported me my entire life with everything that I have chosen to do. One of the pictures is me with some of my family here in New York, but I have an even bigger family than that. The other two pictures are of my crazy friends and I. I have had great times with them including prom and many more to come.
