American Museum of Natural History
On September 4th 2017, I went to American Museum of Natural History, which is one of the largest history museum in the world located in upper west side of Manhattan. I like spending my free time on museum because every time that I come here, there is always a new discovery awaiting for me. This picture is from in front of the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, which is my favorite place in this museum. I could enjoy dioramas of various marine organisms in an atmosphere like being inside of ocean. The scale of blue wheal which being exhibited in the middle is especially overwhelming. The primarily reason I am interested in ocean life is because the world of deep ocean might be the most mysterious and relatively unknown area that the human race has not reached on earth. There might be new species haven’t been discovered yet or might be some clue remained for solving mystery of birth of the Earth. Going to museum broaden my perspective and world. American museum of natural history’s one of the missions is “To discover, interpret, and disseminate—through scientific research and education—knowledge about human cultures, the natural world, and the universe. ” I highly recommend to visit this Museum for people who haven’t been there yet. Thank you for reading!
