The other day I went to the Museum of Sex. Overall, my experience was rather interesting. My friends and I went there as a joke because a lot of our other friends were saying we should go. From the minute we walked in, to the time we left, there was a lot going on. There was nude art everywhere. The art was not just from the United States but was from all around the world, including different continents, cultures and time periods. The museum had more than just picture frames with art in it, there was also plenty of sculptures, costume designs and high tech designs. Another reason my friends and I wanted to go was because we also heard a lot about it online and on social media.

One of my favorite exhibitions was the “Jump for Joy.” This was a fun one because we were able to interact with our surroundings. It was fun for a couple of minutes and I am happy to say that I was able to do it. This museum was unlike any other museum I have ever been to. The art was also unlike anything I have ever seen inside of a museum. Another thing is this museum did not really teach you about sex but it tried to convey the beauty of sex. Hence why every art piece had something to do with sex.

Overall, I think going to the Museum of Sex is something everyone should try out once and go out of their comfort zone. If you are planning to go, I definitely recommend going with a group of friends to make the experience a little less awkward. Lastly, the museum is very close to the school so if you wanted to, you can also go after class.
