On Monday October 30th, I visited the Museum of Modern Art, better known as the MoMA. This was my first time here and it was my first time at a museum since probably the 5th grade. I visited with a friend of mine that goes to Pace, who needed help picking an art piece for an assignment he had. We basically went through the whole museum. I don’t really have an interest in this kind of art due to its abstract nature and would much rather look at older paintings that are more realistic. It was interesting how some exhibits transitioned from being seen in the light, to entering a dark room in which some artists chose to display their art. I most likely will not visit this museum again unless I have to for another assignment. It really depends on your interests, but I would not really recommend this to my friend group in particular.
