The services over at Writing Center provided a deeper analysis of what to expect as college students for a majority of writing assignments. Involvement in various activities along with an introduction to students who share a similar interest got me in the habit of understanding certain practices in essay formatting, sentence structure, and citations in their highest expectations to enjoy the moment. The experience demonstrated a way to approach not only essays and long prompts, but also writing in general. What sparked my interest was the variety of workshops that involved different assignments. As for the one held on September 7, 2017, students were given a list of questions of what makes good writing. In short, the workshop is just one of the many free resources Baruch has to offer and to spend one’s leisure time. Staffed by professional writers, the area is a creative and friendly environment for students who wish to hone their writing skills.
