– The time I was most determined in my life was during my junior year in my high school career when I began to notice that I’ve maintained above a 90 for 3 consecutive quarters and was possibly going to be on Principal Honors (95+) for the year while having 3 AP classes.

– A moment in my life where I would consider myself to be persistent would be when I wanted to buy a car and was working at Trump Links Golf Course while attending the SEEK Summer Course. I was bringing in enough money for the car but not for obtaining luxury items. I was persistent in not spending my money on those items and putting it all in my savings for my car which I acquired later in August.

– Finally I would consider my self most thrilled when I see the results of my effort in work being positive. That pushes me to do more in that type of work and thus excelling.

  1. My most motivating goal as a student is to graduate with a gpa higher than a 3.0
  2. Intelligent, determined and persistent
  3. All three are most essential to me
  4. I am an intelligent, determined and persistent man
    1. I am an intelligent, determined and persistent man creating my dreams
    2. I am an intelligent, determined and persistent man and i love life
  5. I like the second sentence best
  6. Intelligence is my most important qualities in life. A specific example of this quality in my life would be my years in high school. If it wasn’t for intelligence, many things would be different now. I probably wouldn’t be in Baruch. It also helped me gain some college credit whilst being in high school which can be helpful later on

Determination is what makes my intelligence helpful during my academic carreer. In high school, it helped me stay on top of things as well as continue to keep focuses even during the summer. Right now during college, it really helps me to study and do some homework over the weekend which i did not do in high school.

Persistence is what led me to going to Baruch. An example would be when i was taking the SAT’s. Since i was planning on going to Baruch, i knew my math score had to be high. So i was persistent in taking the SAT over again to make sure i got the highest score i could possibly get. That one of the factors that got me into Baruch.

D. Write about what you have learned or relearned concerning your use of time

I have learned that I actually spend part my time in quadrant IV which I should try to diminish, and grow upon Quadrant I. I have other important things that aren’t urgent, and should even try to complete those more than unimportant things, because when I’m doing unimportant things, I see that I lose valuable time. After learning thins I have to at least cut down on the time I am spending in Quadrant  for and leaning towards quadrant 1 and 2 more.

D. Write about what you have learned or relearned concerning your use of time.

I have relearned that time is valuable. I spent a lot of my time doing things in Quadrant IV which is not important and not urgent. I should try to focus my time in more important things, that are urgent such as studying for a midterm. I also learned that I should consider writing a schedule that has both time for relaxing and working.

What I have learned concerning my use of time

What I learned about my use of time is that I spend the majority of it on things that won’t benefit me in the long run. I need to cut back on social media and texting because these are things that I am on throughout the entire day. I spent the next most amount of time on quadrant I. This is a good sign because it tells me that at least I’m not throwing away all my time. Although I spend most of my time in quadrant IV, I believe that I will still be able to achieve my goals and dreams. I’m still focused on what’s important and things such as social media won’t throw me of course.

  • Write each action from your list in Step 1 in the appropriate quadrant on your chart.
  • Write about what you have learned or relearned concerning your use of time.

What I relearned about my use of time is that I spend time that I am free doing things that are not important. I work late in the afternoons which leads to me waking up extremely late. In waking up late, I lost a few hours that I could have used to do homework. Instead of doing homework, I just go on my social media accounts, read or I am usually running errands or doing something for my mother. In doing this I learned that I always stop what I am about to do or am currently doing for my mother because she always needs my help for helping. I also relearned that I leave my assignments for the last minute which is not healthy since it leaves me stressing and rushing to complete the assignment and turning it in on time.

  1. D) After looking back and reflecting on the decisions I made on how I spent my time these past two days, I realize that for the most part I in fact do try my best to get things done. Of course, I also made myself become aware that there are still many things I can do to improve my time management skills. I understand that by removing many of the things I did, especially items belonging to Quadrant III & IV, I would be making it easier for myself by creating more time+ opportunity in getting my school work done. For the most part, I believe that I did an okay job in balancing out the Urgent/non-urgent things . However, I still want to improve, since  I am always feeling like I don’t have enough time to do everything I want to get done. From here on, I will try to be more self conscious of how I spend my time, especially when having important assignments due. I am sure that this will result in great improvements regarding my work ethics.
