Being a Freshman at Baruch, most of the things were sort of confusing to me, at first. I was struggling to find things that are more career related and then I came across Starr Career Development Center. To be honest, I basically went there because I needed to have a blog post on career at Baruch. But once I got in and the treatment I received from them actually helped.

I had no idea about how to write a good resume for the dream finance jobs in New York City. I was completely blank to say the least. I had to wait 5 minutes till my name came up on the appointment sheet. I submitted my certificates and grade sheets, and the mentor helped me figure out the ones I could use for my resume. Things just began to make sense. Then he started to write everything down in a format and before I even know it, I have a beautiful resume right in front of me.

I walked in so confused and came out with a reflection of everything I did for the last 19 years of my life. Baruch has everything you need. You just gotta find the right place for the right things.
