For my second workshop which I did last week was the academic one and my friend who had already done it took to me a fashion museum not too far from baruch. It was a convenient place to go considering it was close by and it was free. At first I didn’t expect much from a fashion museum because i’m not much of a museum person or into fashion or intricate wears. However, I was quite surprised by what I saw. Some of the outfits and dresses where pretty nice. A mix of old and modern design. It was nice looking at the colorful, sparkly, elaborate clothes. The exhibit was also quite informative to read about. There was also a special exhibit for Paris. They showed their main designers, culture, outfit designs throughout time, and however the centuries its been considered the city of fashion. I found the museum pretty interesting although I’m still not the biggest fan of fashion and clothing to that extent it was still a good experience and I would probably go again.
