Although this is “late”, we all had troubles posting our reflections onto the Blog last week so I’m posting it now. My time at Baruch so far has been pretty simple and my week has been nonchalant. Since everything is basically in one building, it feels more like high school than it does college. Although obviously as the school year moves along and the work picks up, I’ll wish I was back in high school. I’m still getting to know my peers and professors, although I can already tell what my teachers are like. I’m still getting to know the campus as well since even if it is just a few buildings, it’s still pretty elaborate. Perhaps the biggest nuisance of Baruch is that I have to sit in the train for an hour every day which is new to me, as every school I’ve ever been to before has been a maximum of twenty minutes away from me. Nonetheless, I’m hoping to be more out there socially and academically as the year progresses and I hope to have a great school year.
