Club Fair

I explored the Club Fair at Baruch College as it had piqued my interest on what this college offered as an extracurricular activity. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture because I did not know we needed one until days after the club fair had ended. However I will describe the fair to my best extent to paint a picture of this event. The fair took place in the basketball gym tot the left and it was packed with numerous students. In fact it was extremely difficult to maneuver through the horde of people that wanted to see what clubs Baruch had. There was also numerous people promoting their specific club through handouts, summaries, free promotional items, and more. Certain clubs also offered different types of foods and drinks to interest people in their  club. The club desks were arranged in the middle and around the walls of the gym and a map of each club desk, which was also color coordinated depending on the clubs theme and numbered, was given to each student before entering the gym to easily navigate the area. I signed up for the Archery Club as it looked like an opportunity to learn a new skill.  One of the members had brought in their personal bow to use as a model but explained the difference in weight of their personal bow and the rental ones. The archer also explained the weight of pulling the bowstring and other interesting facts. I only signed up for the Archery Club because it was becoming uncomfortable moving through the so much people and because the other clubs did not interest me enough to give them a closer look.
