I was very curious of the option to travel abroad for a semester when the representative from that department came in to talk to the class. It did seem like a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore a different country’s culture while still keeping up with my studies. However I am on the fence about whether I should try at all for this program as the expense for it does not seem appealing to me. I do not get financial aid so I would have to take out a loan for this trip and I am hesitant to spend more money than necessary for my degree.  The Honors Program was also a matter that I took interest in as I did not apply through the traditional way but I do not know if I can maintain the standards of the Honors Program academically but I believe there was some sort of monetary assistance for being in the program which is certainly a form of encouragement to keep my grades as high as possible.
