History of the World in 20 Minutes

Want a refresher on how many times China broke apart and put itself back together? Or what the difference between Chandragupta and Chandra Gupta was? (Or rather, who?) All with autotune? Check out this video of the history of the world in less than 20 minutes. (Mildly explicit language, mostly involving what Martin Luther told the Pope to do with himself.)

GSC students are students of history, for history tells the story of why and how peoples and societies come together and come unglued. And while we all have computers in our pockets that can teach us about the details of an event, we really need to have a narrative in our minds that can provide context and background for that event. What else was happening in the world at that time? What were the forces and beliefs that led to upheaval? Who benefited and who suffered? Take the twenty minutes and enjoy a little reminder of the history of the world.
