The United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Chapter invites you to a videoconference with a panel of experts to discuss the differences on the sectors that are considered essential in the United States vs. Mexico and how they are affecting different industries.

DISCUSSION TOPICS:

  • Definition and assessment of essential activities in Mexico vis-à-vis those in the U.S.A.
  • Understanding the role of the different Mexican federal and local authorities on regulation, compliance and enforcement.
  • Administrative and legal means to address inspections, sanctions and closings in Mexico.
  • Potential evolution on the definition of essential activities and inclusion of new sectors and industries, particularly those related to cross-border supply chain and international trade with the U.S.A.
  • Company preparedness to re-starting non-essential activities in Mexico.
  • Assessing and mitigating political, community-related and reputational risks as a result of current or future restarting of operations in the context of the COVID-19 emergency in Mexico.
