The U.S. and India: 2016 and Beyond

March 3, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 8:15 pm

Please join us for an annual event which focuses on the U.S.-India business corridor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government in India have been taking steps to boost sentiment and revive the country’s economy, which has led to renewed optimism among the population. The Government is expected to submit its budget to the Indian Parliament on February 29th. This will be a keenly watched event since it is likely to provide guidance on the Government’s thought process for the next few years.

The U.S and India: 2016 and Beyond program will provide an opportunity to get an informed view of what to expect from U.S.-India relations in 2016, as well as the impact of the India Budget announcements on the growth of the country’s economy and on foreign direct investments. What lies ahead for the Indian economy? KPMG’s U.S.-India practice is pleased to co-sponsor this event with the Asia Society and the U.S.-India Business Council.
