UN Tour and Briefing

Each year the GSC visits the United Nations to see the historic building and hear about the development and actions of the United Nations. We are limited to 17 students. Please RSVP by leaving a comment below, and indicate whether you will be meeting us on campus or directly at the UN. The Visitors Centre entrance is at 46th St. and 1st Ave.

The itinerary for the day:

12:30   Meet in front of my office building on street.
1:00     Arrive at UN and go through security (There are shops and displays inside to pass the time once inside)
1:30-2:30   Guided tour of the UN building

3:00-4:00 Special private briefing by the UN on “Careers at the UN”

Leave a comment below to reserve your spot, and indicate whether you are coming for the tour + briefing, or the briefing only. For the briefing, I will need your first and last names as they appear on the government-issued ID you plan to use. You may email me individually if your official name differs from your preferred name. If you are coming for the briefing only, you will need to be at the UN and passed through security by 2:45 pm.
