Info session: Yale Pre-MBA Leadership Program

February 9, 2011 By JVaisman

Dear Honors students, An information and recruitment meeting for the Yale Pre-MBA Leadership Program will be held:

February 22, 2011, 1:00PM-2:00PM
Room 3-120 VC

The Yale School of Management Pre-MBA Leadership Program (premba.som.yale.edu) is accepting applications for its highly selective, two-week summer program aimed at college juniors and seniors and recent college graduates from populations typically under-represented in management education.  Students are introduced to the fundamentals of management education and given the tools necessary to hone their individual leadership skills.  This 2-wk summer opportunity is FREE of cost to the participants, and is designed to provide students with a glimpse into what an MBA could potentially offer them.

Selected students will stay in a Yale dorm with fellow Pre-MBA Leadership Program attendees and attend classes in the Yale School of Management facilities in New Haven, Connecticut.  Tuition, all program materials, housing, and most meals will be covered by the Yale School of Management. Students will be required to send a $250 deposit in order to enroll in the program, but the full amount will be refunded upon successful completion of the Program. Students are required to cover the cost of their travel to and from New Haven, as well as a few meals and incidental expenses. Limited financial assistance may be available for students who request it in advance and are prepared to demonstrate their financial need.

Application deadline is March 31, 2011.
