Math Whiz? Compete to Win Up to $2,500 in Cash!
The third annual CUNY Math Challenge is now open for registration. This University-wide mathematics competition invites all matriculated CUNY undergraduates who enjoy or excel in math to participate in this year’s contest, which will be jam-packed with fun and challenging mathematical problems and puzzles. The contest opens Monday, March 7, with the first of three online rounds of problems. New rounds will begin every other week and participants will have two weeks to submit their answers, accumulating points along the way. Participants with the most points after three rounds will be invited to sit for a final in-person exam to be administered on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Approximately $15,000 in prize money will be awarded, with prizes ranging from $500 to $2,500. more >
