Reminder! A Reading and Conversation with poet Laurie Sheck

March 14, 2012 By lmaestro

Just a quick reminder that The Sidney Harman Writer-in-Residence Program is inviting you to A Reading and Conversation with poet Laurie Sheck. I have attached a flyer for the event, which will take place on Tuesday, March 20th in the Asriel and Marie Rackow Conference Room at 5:45PM (with a reception at 5PM). The event is co-sponsored by Poets & Writers Magazine.

Laurie Sheck Event Flyer

“I will be doing a multimedia presentation from A Monster’s Notes ( not poetry) which involves the monster from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The “monster” ( mine is still alive in the 21st century) thinks about and takes notes on everything from robotics to genetic engineering to portrait painting, astronauts etc. It’s very wide-ranging. When I did a similar presentation at Harvard the students loved it.”
— Laurie Sheck

Thank you!
