The Brooklyn College Psychology Department is delighted to announce our new Neuroscience Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program.
With support from the National Science Foundation, our 15-week program aims to immerse students in rich and innovative mentored research experiences in clinical, cognitive, and behavioral neuroscience. The core of the program is the opportunity to carry out an individual research project under the guidance of a Brooklyn College REU faculty mentor. Students are expected to disseminate research findings by presenting a poster at the end of the term. Additionally, the REU curriculum includes ethics training and scholarly didactics to further engage students in scientific discussions about timely research topics and publications, as well as professional issues such as career paths and preparation for graduate school.
Twelve undergraduate students from the NY metropolitan area will be selected each year to join our program.
REU participants will be awarded a stipend of $3100.
We are Seeking…Talented undergraduates who have a passion for the neurosciences!
