The FALL 2012 access period is quickly approaching. Please review the below information as it will help you plan and prepare for submitting your application(s) for funding from the Opportunities Fund.
Access Period, Appointments and Applications:
–The FALL access period at Baruch is from 9/24-10/4. No applications will be accepted after 4:00pm on Thursday, October 4th. Sign-up for an appointment, to review your application and supporting documentation, beginning on 9/19.

–Please plan on signing up early in the access period. This will leave time for you to revise or amend your application if necessary.
–Please review MHC’s website for information on the process, the type of activities funded, to download application forms and much, much more:

–Please be on time; being more than 5 minutes late may cause you to lose your appointment. During this appointment we will review your completed application, justification and supporting documentation. You must come prepared with a printed draft of your justification for review. Don’t forget to bring a copy of your successfully completed Opportunities Fund Quiz. Your application will not be complete without it.
–Following your advisor signing off on your application, you must submit two (2) copies of your complete application. This means submitting both the original and a copy of the application. You should also keep another/3rd copy for your own records.
–First-year students (Class of 2016) will be allowed to apply beginning in the Spring 2013 semester for activities taking place in Summer 2013.
–Please be sure to check your preferred email address on file with MHC and/or have it forwarded to an account that you check frequently during the access period. If any problems arise with your application, that is how MHC will contact you.
– The next access period will be in Spring 2013, sometime in late February/early March.
