Gastronomy Club Bake-A-Cake Global Brigades Fundraiser

March 14, 2013 By CChala

UPDATE: Event postponed.

Bake-A-Cake Flyer

Ever wanted to test out your baking skills? Or just enjoy and taste what your friends can bake? Here is an event to kick start the beginning of Spring Break. On March 23, 2013, Macaulay’s Gastronomy Club is hosting a baking contest from 12 pm – 5 pm. Teams of 2-4 people will compete from scratch for the best cake. $5 entry fee for each team member. Anyone can join but each team must consist of a Macaulay student. Even if you don’t know how to cook, you can still come for unlimited tea and cakes after the competition, where you’ll be able to try all the cakes that your friends made. Admission for those who are eating cakes and drinking tea will be $6. Part of the proceeds will go towards the CUNY-Macaulay Global Brigades Chapter for medication they are going to bring to Panama this coming Summer. So come and have some fun. You’ll be in for a treat!
