Let’s Get Ready at Queens College is looking for a college student mentors!

Let’s Get Ready (LGR) is a FREE college prep program that employs college students to provide free SAT tutoring and college application assistance. LGR helps students of lower income backgrounds attain their dream of attending college by providing intensive tutoring and mentorship. Currently, we are looking for motivated, dependable, and enthusiastic college students (or recent graduates!) to join the program by becoming volunteer coaches.

The commitment is only one night a week from June 24th to August 13th.  We meet at Queens College on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  This year at Queens, we have a record number of students and a dire need for more coaches in order to keep class sizes small!  Our classes begin this Tuesday, but we are still actively recruiting and are willing to train new coaches to start next week to meet our students’ needs.
