Part Time Internship Opportunities

Finance Division: Credit Risk Management & Advisory

Credit Part Time Internships are only open to junior level students currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Credit Risk part timers will be considered for summer internship opportunities as part of this program. Program dates are January 2015 – April 2015.

As a CRMA professional, you might:

  • Research the fundamentals of the wireless industry to determine Goldman Sachs’ risk appetite to the sector
  • Analyze the financial strength of a hedge fund that wants to trade with the currency-trading desk
  • Structure a collateral arrangement to mitigate risk associated with an equity derivatives trade
  • Coordinate with Sales & Trading, Legal, Operations and Compliance to protect against a counterparty default and minimize potential losses
  • Help a client issuing public debt prepare to present its credit story to the rating agencies
  • Discuss the capital structure implications of a proposed merger with the Investment Banking team

APPLICATION PROCESS (BOTH STEPS ARE REQUIRED):

  1. Register with your School Career Center in order to drop your resume
  2. Complete the Goldman Sachs “Seasonal/Off-Cycle” online application [including GPA] at www.goldmansachs.com/careers
  3. Apply by Sunday, October 5, 2014 in order to be considered
