Dear Honors Students,
We would like to invite you to a small lunch with Baruch alumnus Bernard L. Schwartz. Mr. Schwartz was the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Loral Space and Communications for 34 years, and is also a progressive public policy advocate and philanthropist.
Over lunch, Mr. Schwartz will share stories about his experience making the transition from Baruch student to recent grad to successful business executive. He will also field questions from students, especially about the skills and relationships you can be building now to prepare yourselves for whatever comes next. Have you wondered what skills are most valued in the workplace? Have you been told to “network” but wondered what that means in practical terms?
Here’s your opportunity to ask a supportive and successful alumnus anything!
This lunch will be held on Tuesday, December 2, from 1-2pm at the Bernard L. Schwartz Institute (137 E 25th St., Room 323).
We’d love to see you there. Please RSVP as soon as possible, no later than Monday, December 1st: https://baruch.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_bHt6gD4FqcecMDj
