You’re Invited! To a Panel Discussion on “Homelessness: A Pipeline to Trafficking” at Macaulay Honors College

“Homelessness: A Pipeline to Trafficking”

Date: Tuesday, December 9th
Time: 6:30-8:30 PM
Location: Macaulay Honors College, 35 W 67th St, New York, NY 10023

Join the “Avasara” club, who will be hosting the event “Homelessness: A Pipeline to Trafficking.” The evening will focus on homeless youth, LGBTQI youth in particular, as an at-risk population human trafficking and our role as a community to prevent further abuse.

There will be a panel consisting of researchers and representatives from prominent organizations. Following the panel will be a catered dinner and opportunities to chat with experts and learn how you can help the cause.

Panelists:

  • Jayne Bigelsen, Covenant House
  • Genna Goldsobel, ECPAT USA
  • Bronia Ashford, the Administration for Children and Families
  • Richard Curtis, the Department of Anthropology at John Jay College
