National and Prestigious Fellowships & Scholarships – INFORMATION SESSION

Grants for Graduate Study, Research, Internships, Teaching or Public Service

Date and Time: Thursday, March 19th from 12:45pm to 2:00pm
Location: Room 13-145 of the William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus

Nationally competitive fellowships and scholarships provide opportunities to help students realize their goals. There are fellowships and scholarships to help pay for graduate school; to fund professional development opportunities through internships; to conduct research; to study abroad; and to work for the good of your community. Applying for a prestigious fellowship or scholarship can be a rewarding and valuable experience. Winning the award is the ultimate goal, but the process of applying creates an opportunity for self-discovery and self-definition.

This spotlight presentation provides an overview of the types of fellowships and scholarships available; offers advice on selecting a fellowship opportunity; and suggests strategies on making you a competitive applicant.

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.
