Apply to become a SACC Tutor for Baruch College!!!

Dear Honors Students,

The Student Academic Consulting Center (SACC) at Baruch College is currently looking to hire students for most undergraduate courses, but particularly needs tutors for all levels of math and business courses. Tutoring is an extremely gratifying way to share your knowledge with other students and to use the opportunity to keep the subject matter fresh.

Specific courses needed:

  • Accounting: ACC 3100, TAX 3300
  • CIS: CIS 2200, CIS 3100 and SAM Software
  • Economics: ECO 4000
  • Mathematics: CSTM 0120, MTH 1030, MTH 2003, MTH 3006, MTH 3030, and MTH 4120
  • Languages: Spanish, French
  • Psychology: PSY 1001
  • Real Estate: RES 3000

To be eligible to become a tutor you must:

  1. Have earned 24 credits at Baruch
  2. Have a GPA of at least 3.3
  3. Received “A’s” in the subjects that you would like to tutor and have completed the course at Baruch

Please note that only applications for students who meet the aforementioned eligibility requirements will be considered for employment. To fill out an application please visit our website www.baruch.cuny.edu/sacc/opportunities.htm.

If you are hired you will participate in SACC’s tutor training program which has been nationally certified, meaning that each tutor undergoes an approved and extensive training series to ensure that our services are of the highest quality.
