Kseniya Kosmina bio

Kseniya, graduate assistant, smiling while wearing a blouse and blazer. My name is Kseniya Kosmina, and I am beyond excited to return to my alma mater as a Macaulay Honors Senior Academic Advisor at Baruch College. I am a proud CUNY alumna, having completed my BBA in Marketing and MSEd in Higher Education Administration in 2017 and 2021, respectively, both from Baruch College. As a former Honors student and a GA for the Honors team, I am eager to use my unique knowledge and understanding of the Honors student population at Baruch to better serve Macaulay honors students.

I have worked at two top global advertising agencies, as well as in graphic design, non-profit organizations, and major financial institutions. Realizing my calling was in increasing access to higher education and helping students have fulfilling collegiate experiences, I have developed student programming and provided advising to transfer students as a Transfer Momentum Specialist at John Jay College.

Passionate about mentorship and the professional & personal growth of others, I am an active member of the CUNY community. Mentoring in Executives On Campus Program, volunteering with Financial Women’s Association, and leading student organizations are some of the ways in which I like to give back.

I enjoy anything that gets me outside and moving. Running, hiking, swimming, ice skating, and skiing have been lifelong hobbies. I cannot imagine my life without nature’s therapeutic power. I am an avid reader, a foodie, and a travel enthusiast.
