Home / Private: Old_Requirements Overview / Full Time Status and Scholarship Support

Full Time Status and Scholarship Support

Honors students must be registered as full-time students and maintain good academic progress to maintain scholarship support.

  • Students are expected to take between 12-17 credits/units per semester to maintain progress towards degree. (We recommend students take 15 credits/units per semester to remain on track to graduate within four years.)
  • After the first year, students may take up to 18 credits/units.
  • Students need permission from their advisers to register for more than 18 credits or to add, drop or withdraw from a class. (NOTE: If the course load falls below 12 credits/units, students risk losing their scholarship and/or their financial aid may be affected).
