- Jazmine Soberano (MHC ’27): As a full-time undergraduate student, I am currently maintaining a diverse set of responsibilities while expressing my creativity and leadership skills. Being actively involved with small businesses and community volunteering honed my perseverance and adaptability. As a social media coordinator for Books and Beyond at Baruch, a content creator for Macaulay Honors College, an assistant manager at a restaurant, a marketing intern, and a member of GreenThumb, I intend to use my diverse experiences for advocacy by teaching the power of awareness through Macaulay Honors and Baruch. Candidates for General Vice President of HSC
- Farah Haq (PROV ’26): Being part of HSC has been one of the most rewarding parts of my Honors experience, and I’m excited to step up as General Vice President to keep that momentum going. As VP of Community Service this past year, I helped organize events like our Care Package Drive, where we delivered 270 kits to Bowery Mission, and our CardzforKidz card-making event to spread positivity to children. These experiences helped me grow as a leader and team player, and showed me how meaningful it is to create opportunities for students to give back. I’ve been an active and reliable member of HSC, and I’m ready to continue supporting the team, bringing great ideas to the table, and helping everything run smoothly. I’d love the chance to give back even more to the Honors community next year!

- Amina Radoncic (MHC ’28): I am thrilled to be running for this position and hope to be given the chance to serve the Baruch Honors community! My past experiences are adjacently aligned with the responsibilities needed to be a successful Vice President of Events: they showcase my productivity, communication skills, and leadership abilities. First, I am currently an English reading comprehension teacher at the Syrian Kids Foundation, where I plan and execute engaging lessons for my students; this works hand in hand with the thoughtful planning and coordination skills needed to plan successful events. Moreover, I am also treasurer for the Macaulay Pre-Law Club, where I consistently work alongside my fellow E-Board members to organize initiatives and make the best use of our funds. This position further highlights my ability to be proactive and coordinated, and I intend to use all of these skills to help the HSC thrive!

My name is Michelle Vasserman and I have loved being part of the honors community, especially getting to plan events that bring people together and make college life more enjoyable. Over the past semester, I have organized activities as HSC VP of Events, from crafting Lego flowers with tons of active participation to hosting a relaxing paint by number art session, and I’m currently planning an ice cream social! Creating inviting environments where students can unwind, meet new people, and have fun has always been my top priority. I’ve worked diligently to organize supplies, stay within budget, and collaborate with others to bring creative ideas to life—skills that have grown my leadership and public speaking abilities tremendously. Additionally, I am also involved in the Macaulay Business Club event-planning committee where I co-organized a professional communication workshop for over 30 people and helped with our annual business conference. I look forward to using my experience and my passion to thoughtfully craft events to further strengthen our community and offer everyone something to enjoy!

- Aniqa Amran (MHC ’28): I’m excited to run for this position because I love using media to build community and make student events more visible, engaging, and memorable. This past winter, I interned at Payne Capital Management, in Marketing where I created and managed digital content, and before that, I worked at Incite Pictures, a documentary film company, where I worked on creation and media as well. These experiences, along with my role as an Ambassador for the Macaulay Business Club, have made me super organized, creative, and a strong team collaborator. I’m passionate about making sure our Honors community feels super connected, seen, and informed about things going on through fun media. I’d love the chance to bring my skills to HSC and highlight all the amazing work we do across the platforms!

I’m eager to serve as VP of Community Service because I strongly believe I can transform this process into one that is smooth, accessible, and enjoyable for my fellow honors students. By leveraging my diverse experience in volunteering for various domestic and international organizations including teaching English to non-native speakers and helping build cottages for refugees in Bangladesh, I bring both experience and commitment to this role. If elected, I will work diligently to ensure that fulfilling and documenting community service hours is no longer a matter of anxiety, but rather an opportunity for meaningful engagement and personal growth.
