Benjamin Ross – Bio

Benjamin Ross is a Senior Academic Advisor for Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College. He has worked as an Honors Advisor on multiple CUNY campuses, most recently at Queens College. He grew up in Brooklyn and Central New Jersey. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Psychological Counseling from Monmouth University. Mr. Ross is professionally interested in developmental and student-centered approaches in academic advising, preparing students for graduate education, and high-impact activities and opportunities to empower college students. He plays bass, guitar, and drums, and loves performing and writing music with friends. He lives in Forest Hills, Queens with his wife Anne and feline companions Piccola and June.
