Learn. Make. Play.

The MakerHub is Baruch’s resident makerspace for technology, design, and entrepreneurship. We are the hub for learning, playing, and making using robotics, circuit technology, 3D printers, as well as low-fidelity creativity outlets like Legos, Play-Doh, and origami.

MakerHub is a program of the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship and supported by the Baruch Student Technology Fees.

We welcome Baruch students of all skill levels, majors, and backgrounds to join us at our workshops, pop-up events, and competitions. You can also work on your own independent project, guided by a member of the MakerHub team. We love helping with creative projects!

Browse our website to discover our online learning modules, technology resources, and other ways you can get involved.

We can help with (almost) anything

The MakerHub is an excellent place to learn about and receive training on various technologies. However, it’s not suited for 3D printing personal or large quantity projects. For affordable off-campus resources to help you design and 3D print a variety of objects in different materials, we recommend the following:

  • New York Public Libraries: Requires free borough library cards. NYPL
  • CCNY Makerspace: Email them first, as they may not always accommodate non-CCNY student projects. You’ll need to complete their training program. CCNY Makerspace
  • Shapeways: Offers low-cost options for single or simple bulk plastic prints. Shapeways
