Session Summary
Stress can be a positive motivator (eustress), but high levels of negative stress (distress) can lead to significant losses in productivity and harm employee well-being. Productive managerial work habits rely on developing proper attitudes toward work and time in order to avoid distress stress. You will learn to calculate the cost of procrastination and its implications for work stress, to attack burdensome and overwhelming tasks, and to balance and prioritize the demands your position might put on you. Skills taught in this module focus on recognizing stressors, proper time management to avoid stress, and other strategies for stress reduction.
