My life matters because there is no one like me in the world. No one thinks the way I do, no one talks the way I do, and no one can change the world the way I can. My life’s experiences are unique and therefore no one has the ideas I’ll have and no one will be able to make the contributions I can make. If not me, then who? No one can make my little brother laugh the way I can. No one can bake almond butter muffins to perfection the way I can. No one can motivate my friend to run the extra mile like I can. No one can plan a party like I can. If I’m not there to do all of these stupidly mundane little things, who will? In short, my life matters because my life is a series of moments that are unique to me. No one can touch the world I can.
