My life matters because of the people around me. People such as my loving girlfriend who gives me meaning and makes me look forward to the life I cannot wait to spend with her. People like my parents, who sacrificed so much for me to live the life I want to live. Before opening my eyes, I remember being in a dark place within my life where I thought my life was headed nowhere, but the fact I’m here today and able to pursue my dreams shows me that everyone’s life matters and everyone is capable of success and the only limits we have are the ones in which we put upon ourselves. I will forever be grateful for the people around me who lifted me up when I was down, as they made me realize that my life matters.
