Staff, NPR. “Before The Internet, Librarians Would ‘Answer Everything’ — And Still Do.” NPR, 28 December 2014, Accessed 23 May 2023.

This article emphasizes the idea that even though we have devices that hold all the information, we still rely upon dated methods to answer our questions. Librarian Rosa Caballero-Li details how people still write to librarians with bright questions, looking for satisfactory answers. Caballero-Li further highlight the role of a librarian and their necessary expertise. I wanted to quote a certain phrase in the article that, to me, made me think back to when technology wasn’t widely known yet.

“How Mobile Phones are Making Our Lives Convenient – Liberty Title.” Liberty Title and Escrow, 6 March 2023, Accessed 23 May 2023.

Explains the usage of phones and how they helped us through our daily lives. The author then showed a few examples of what a phone can and cannot do. With this source, I could pull ideas out that are generally used in a phone and try to bring the main audience.

Howarth, Josh. “Time Spent Using Smartphones (2023 Statistics).” Exploding Topics, 9 January 2023, Accessed 21 April 2023.

Used in my Assignment 2, I believe this source gives us a lot of statistical results of phone usage and it would be helpful when I write on my Assignment 3. This source is also up to date and has some database of 2013 as well.

“COVID-19 digital transformation & technology.” McKinsey, 5 October 2020, Accessed 24 May 2023.

Like phone usage, this source shows the drastic change from in-person to online learning experience and how it affected the world whether it is work or school. They also present graphs and charts of the past few years.
