Language is used in many in different forms other than advertising as a persuasive technique. For example a sales and trader may persuade an individual or a company to either buy, sell, or keep stocks as he or she twists language into an appealing and reliable forms in order to convince the client to follow certain orders. Another example is when a sales person such as car dealers or sales associates in stores convince their customers to purchase a certain product as they use many aspects of language such as tones, sentences backed with support and words to send a persuasive message. Lastly, persuasive language can be used from authority such as a credible leader convincing his or her intended audience to refrain or to carry on a certain act and from elders such as parents or siblings. Hence, persuasive language is used in many settings but customer-based relationships are when its most frequently used.
