Design Thinking

Design thinking is a process that involves empathy and innovation. We use design thinking in order to create something for a consumer and to empathize and understand that consumer is the most crucial part of the process. Putting yourself in their shoes and seeing things from their perspective is a game changer. To solve their issue is what we are looking to do. We take their needs and wants into consideration and come up with ideas that we think believe will solve and help those issues. We then make those ideas come to life and see if they are working. We see if the market will accept this idea and if they feel like it is something they find needful. Whichever idea doesn’t seem to be working we either reject it or find a way to improve it and we continue to tweak and adjust these ideas until we have a product that is successful and that we and the customers are satisfied with.

    1. I just saw this and figured I would chime in. The answer is Yes. DT is one approach and many will argue a good approach but there will always be different ways of innovating. Even accidental innovation can happen right?!

  1. Great reflection, ideas will always be tweaked and adjusted even after customers are satisfied because it’s only temporary. As scenarios change and technology evolves, customers may discover new problems that need to be solved before they can be satisfied.
