Waiting for Godot show us how the society is social constructed after the war and how these two character Vladimir and Estragon live in an uncertain world and how they ability to make a choice is unable, how they have to belief and truth other person world to have some to still living, and they show their friendship and how they are afraid to be alone in a world who doesn’t care for them. The play also show the suffering and unhappy that humanity in the play are living and how they find death in a quickly solution to end with the pain and the endless waiting for Godot.

Waiting for Godot is about two men not able to move or thing in any way while they waiting for a mysterious man, Godot. As Estragon said at the begins of the play, “Nothing to be done.” I believe that what they mean when he said Nothing to done is they do not have another option for get out their misery only waiting for this mysterious guy in the side of a road near to a tree.

Estragon and Vladimir live and an uncertain world where the choice of waiting become a mandatory part of the routine day by day, in the play they decide to leave the place where they waiting for Godot but they remember they waiting for someone as some special the commitment, “Let’s go… We can’t… Why not?… We’re waiting for Godot.” They transform their mental choice in physical performance special for Vladimir who decision for waiting for Godot prevents Estragon for any choice. These men don’t have freedom to decide to leave the place, such inaction leads to endless cycle of their lives.

The relationship between Vladimir and Estragon is very tricky each character has the fair of loneliness, the fair of loneliness connects Vladimir and Estragon toguether and don’t leave each other and waiting for Godot which they considered their savior, “that would be too bad, really too bad. [Pause.] Wouldn’t it, Didi, be really too bad? [Pause] when you think of the way. [Pause.] And goodness of the wayfarers.” The relationship that connect these two characters is the misery than their living and the fair to be alone in the society who people believe their better than others, “You are human being none the less. [He puts on his glasses.] As far as one can see. [He takes off his glasses.] of the same species as myself. [He bursts into an enormous laugh.] of the same species as Pozzo! Made in God’s image!” the structure of humanity in the play is unhappy and misery that made people believe that they are some kind of god that they are better than others.

Another Kind of relationship in the play is Pozzo and Lucky is different from the relation between Vladimir and Estragon. We can see the Dominant relationship between Pozzo and Lucky, Lucky is physical type to Pozzo, Lucky has a rope around his neck, it symbolizes the authority that Pozzo has over Lucky, He used to dance the farandole, the fling, the brawl, the jig, the fandango and even the hornpipe. He capered. For joy. Now that’s the best he can do. Do you know what he calls it?… The Scapegoat’s Agony… The Hard Stool… The Net. He thinks he’s entangled in a net.”  A rope around Lucky neck is an evidence of suffering in the society in the play.

Suffering for Vladimir and Estragon is a regular Expected part of the day by day living in the play, “It hurts?… (angrily) Hurts! He wants to know if it hurts!… (angrily) No one ever suffers but you. I don’t count. I’d like to hear what you’d say if you had what I have… It hurts?… (angrily) Hurts! He wants to know if it hurts!… (pointing) You might button it all the same… (stooping) True. (He buttons his fly.) Never neglect the little things of life.” Suffering is part of the daily life of these two character Vladimir and Estragon it shows how pain is necessary in the human condition of these two.

In the play Vladimir and Estragon have to believe and have hope in others people word because the misery that they living. “Our Saviour. Two thieves. One is supposed to have been saved and the other . . . (he searches for the contrary of saved) . . . damned… But all four were there. And only one speaks of a thief being saved. Why believe him rather than the others?” Vladimir bring the story of the two thieves to make the point that they have to belief even though they don’t see any prove that Godot is coming.

Truth in the uncertain world that Vladimir and Estragon live is elemental because without it they can’t support the torturous of this endless wait for their “savior” Godot, “We’re waiting for Godot…  (despairingly) Ah! (Pause.) You’re sure it was here?… What?… That we were to wait… He said by the tree. (They look at the tree.) Do you see any others?…  Looks to me more like a bush. A shrub… A bush. What are you insinuating? That we’ve come to the wrong place?” they seem not sure is where they are in the right location that make us think that when we are waiting for something sometime we have to be patient.

In Waiting for Godot Vladimir and Estragon not are far from the fact of death. For them one solution to get out of the misery that they are living is death, “What about hanging ourselves?… Hmm. It’d give us an erection… (highly excited) An erection! …Let’s hang ourselves immediately!” Human choices in the society that the play show is depend in others people and death.
