In 2020, 16 Baruch students were awarded 3,000 each as part of the Dr. Wendy Heyman Public Interest Fellowship. Heyman fellows transform the world by volunteering or interning in unpaid positions where they are making a difference in the world. These fellowships can be in government, non-profits, non-government organizations (NGO), arts institutions or any non-profit organization where they are serving the “common good.” This fellowship was named in memory of Dr. Wendy Heyman, psychologist and advocate for volunteerism and gaining valuable work experience while making a difference in the world.
