Journal #20

First, let me just say, this is the weirdest, most abstract movie that I have ever witnessed. To call this movie interesting or weird is a complete understatement.

The use of music in this movie emphasizes the mood of the scene. In the beginning, they use intense music when the main character hits his brother after the woman sings. The music becomes serious to the point where you know who has full power without even having to hear the words being stated. The music truly brings a more creative and powerful setting.

In a different setting, the use of “fast-forward” creates a different mood. The use of speeding up the film makes the violent scenes become even more violent. It made the scene feel more rushed and important. These few featured just enhanced the scenes.
