Rosenwasser Responses

One of the topics that Rosenwasser touches up on is Defining Significant Parts and How They’re Related. Even though this is something that we all think about, his analysis is way different than mine. He talks about dividing a problematic area. In this case, this would be my essay. What he is saying is that, I must take my rough draft and break it up by paragraphs and then find ways to intertwine and connect those paragraphs. Typically, I would simply have one paragraph lead into another, yet this idea makes a lot more sense to make an easily understood essay.

Another thing I never really considered was the Communication Triangle. The triangle has three sides, which stand for the various forms of communication. There is subject centered, writing centered, reader centered. This triangle can be used as a helpful self-aid to help you understand more what you are writing about.

Lastly, I found the idea that, if I use my smartphone, to google a certain subject, that action, essentially is damaging to my learning capacity. The idea behind this, is that I should be able to discover this information on my own using the mental process in my head rather than relying on something else to do it for me. This was a theory originally brought up by Plato, and I never really thought that this would be something that could still apply today.
