Today, people can discuss topics that they are interest in at anytime, anywhere as simple as moving their figures, typing few letters and then clicking on “Publish”. Discussions among people are no longer limited on the verbal form. Twitter has become a popular way for people to communicate and share their ideas by using and reading “Tweet”s. there is no doubt that it’s effective way of exploring Huck’Finn.

First of all, using Twitter to explore Huck’Finn is very convenient. Students in the class have cell phones and computers (school has a computer lab); therefore, everybody has the access to the information that teacher and classmates post online.

Secondly, the time in English class is limited; the class has only one hundred minutes. As we know, the masterpiece of Mark Twain, “The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn” reveals many conflicts and issues which are controversial. Students may not be able to finish discussing them in the class. So Twitter offers a great place for student to continue exploring their thoughts. In short, I believe Twitter might be an interesting and effective way of exploring Huck’Finn.

I like that you pointed out that time is limited. Whether it be just English class with a restriction of 100 minutes or other times, time cannot be brought or given back once it has past. The life of a Baruch student is very much “on-the-go” so with Twitter, we’ll be able to reply while we’re on the train or waiting for our friends to get out of class. I think it’ll be interesting to see how this will end up.
