Here’s the chart on Logical Fallacies that we looked at in class: “Monty Python and the Quest for the Perfect Fallacy” (From FactCheckerED.org). It’s also posted on the Toolbox page. Below (for your enjoyment) are two Monty Python clips that make humorous use of fallacies and booby traps and erroneous notions of argumentation. Also note my annotated citations for the clips!
Monty Python. “Argument Clinic, Monty Python’s The Flying Circus.” Online Video Clip. YouTube.com. You Tube, 14 Nov 2008. Web. 3 Nov 2016.
While humorous, the patron makes a solid definition of an argument as being more than a contradiction or reactionary negation.

Monty Python. “Witch Village, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” YouTube. com. You Tube, 13 Nov. 2008. Web. 3 Nov. 2016.
Notice the way both the villagers and the examiner/judge build their logically flawed (humorously ridiculous) witch by establishing false or untenable relationships between their premises and then taking one unsound conclusion as the premise for the next part of the argument.
