Week 4 update

This week for my miniature project I had taken the professor’s suggestion of laying out the ideas I am going for in my logotype. I also made a list of different designs I’m trying to avoid because I either did not like it or just felt it was being over done. I also made a list of items that I want my logotype to look well on besides the stationery. I want my design to look good on hats, t -shirts, stickers or even keychains. That is part of the challenge of making a logotype. Not only having it represent you but also having the ability to make it usable in many different shapes and sizes.

In my internship I have continued to make changes to the intranet at my job. They are also allowing me to start learning some more advance changes for the site. They are going to allow me to learn how to actually archive personnel’s information after they have left the firm. The firm believes that this is actually going to become very handy and important to use in the near future. I asked to learn how to set up the way you can get statistics of what pages are being used and which are pretty much overlooked. That will help us know if the pages matter or if perhaps people simply does not know where it is located.
