Week 2 Update

This week was a little stressful when it pertains to the side project that comes with this course. My friend was not able to locate all of his photos that he has. He sent a few he had on his computer, however they were not up to the caliber I know he has done or what I think is needed to do his portfolio/ book I had in mind for him. So I have decided to work on branding myself instead. If I were to wait for him to locate his photographs then I would have been far behind in this project and that is something I can’t afford to do. I do not like the feeling of being behind schedule so I definitely needed to start working on a different idea. I started working on my logotype for my brand. From there I will come up with a letterhead, business card and editing my portfolio to make everything uniform as much as I can.

This week in my internship I have just been getting more suggestions on what to add on the firm’s intranet. So I have either been making some of the changes or asking if they are even worth the effort because they might bother others at the same time. That is the one thing that gets the most attention from people throughout the firm is little details that perhaps they do not like. This week or next I will be getting the chance to edit or redesign some of the transmittal slips that are sent throughout the firm. I even have to come up with one from scratch because they recently added a new form for a different practice group.
