On April 20, 2021 at 6:00 pm the Black Studies Colloquium will delve into a conversation about Black Studies focusing on the work of our esteemed colleague, Zachariah Mampilly (Endowed Chair of International Affairs, Marxe School of Public and International Affairs). In this round table discussion, we will consider a diasporic framing of Black Studies. This conversation will build from a section (pp. 25-34) of Mampilly’s article, “Decolonizing the United States: Lessons from Africa.” Ufahamu: A Journal of African Studies, 38(3), (2015) linked here.
