Leaving women to suffer in the one of the most vulnerable times in their life is inhuman yet we continue to hear more stories as if we do not know that the problem is big enough to raise a real concern around it.

So it’s crucial to bring strong feminists, brave scientists and make those in power to take actions in order to stop the oppression in the most vulnerable places.
“A racist society will give you a racist science.” Whew, this quote rings so true today and every day we don’t take the steps to tackle inequality. There has to be more that is done instead of commissions being done that leads to no results. This reminds me of “Nice White Parents” and the findings that came up.
The problem of racism and feminism still continue, those problems is the effect of the social constructed idea of who supposed to be in the power, and what gender should have the power. You mentioned a huge societal problem such as the femicides around the world; the focus on Mexico of this type of crimes produce consternation within women of not feeling save in the country. I have no doubt that this is a societal issue that I hope this will end someday.
